Pear Cranberry Crisp Recipe

Ingredients:
6 cup: Sliced peeled pears,
1 cup: Fresh or frozen cranberries,
1/2 cup: Sugar,
2 tbsp: All-purpose flour,
1/2 tsp: Ground cinnamon,
1/2 tsp: Ground ginger,
1/4 tsp: Ground nutmeg,
1/8 tsp: Ground cloves,

TOPPING
1 cup: All-purpose flour,
2/3 cup: Firmly packed brown sugar,
1/2 cup: Old-fashioned oats,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1/2 cup: Cold butter or margarine,
Whipped cream and fresh mint, optional

Directions:
Combine the first eight ingredients; mix well. Pour into a greased 9-in.
square baking pan. for topping, combine flour, brown sugar, oats and salt;
cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for
50-60 minutes or until pears are tender. Garnish with whipped cream and
mint if desired. Yield: 6-8 servings.
