Pie Crust For Meat Pies Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: flour,
2 teaspoon: baking ppowder,
1 cup: sweet milk,
1/2 teaspoon: salt,
1/2 cup: shortening,

Directions:
Sift flour, salt, baking powder and soda (if you use buttermilk). Add the
shortening and rub together until as fine as flour. Add the milk and mix
lightly. Place a little flour on your board, and roll out mixture to pie
crust thickness. Line pan and add meat broth, slightly thickened; cover
with crust or creamed Irish potatoes.

If you prefer, make buttermilk crust by using buttermilk instead of sweet
milk, and add 1 ts. soda.
