Plain Pie Pastry Recipe

Yield: 1 pie

Ingredients:
3 cup: flour,
1 cup: shortening,
1 teaspoon: salt,
1 teaspoon: baking powder,
2/3 cup: water (iced),

Directions:
Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl and cut in shortening
with a pastry blender. Add ice water and mix lightly until dough forms a
solid mass. Chill. Roll out and line pie shell. Trim edges and bake at
450 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
