Spicy Salsa Verde & Juniper Berry Marinade Recipe

Ingredients:
12 oz: jar prepared salsa verde*,
1/3 cup: chopped fresh parsley,
1/3 cup: dry white wine or chicken broth,
1 teaspoon: juniper berries, crushed**,
1/4 teaspoon: coarsely ground pepper,
1 teaspoon: grated lemon peel,
Directions:
*Salsa verde can be found in the Mexican section of large grocery stores.
**Juniper berries can be found in the spice section of large grocery
stores.
In medium bowl stir together all marinade ingredients. Use to marinate 2
pounds meat (chicken, pork or beef); reserve marinade. Cook meat as
desired. Meanwhile, in 1-quart saucepan bring reserved marinade to a full
boil. Serve with cooked meat. Yield: 2 cups.
