Wine-mushroom Steak Sauce* Recipe

Ingredients:
1 each: med. can sliced mushrooms,
3/4 cup: burgundy wine,
2 1/2 tablespoon: browned flour,
1 each: garlic clove minced,
1/2 teaspoon: white pepper,
1 tablespoon: lemon juice,
1: salt to taste,
1 tablespoon: soy sauce,

Directions:
2 T real butter 1 t Angostura bitters

Saute mushrooms in butter. Brown the flour in your iron skillet,
stirring constantly over med. high heat. Add
1/3 cup juice form the canned mushrooms and the wine.
Thicken with the browned flour sifted in a little at a
time. Next stir-in the seasonings. Cook overa medium heat
for 10 minutes stirring occassionally. Pour over prepared
steaks.
Everyone likes a good steak sauce. I prefer home-made
bottled-commercial types. This one is an original and I am
proud of it. Enjoy!
