Peach Melba
For this classic dessert, you need fresh raspberries. Before Serving: Wash
and hull the raspberries and puree in a blender on low speed, adding a
little sugar at a time. Do not make the berries overly sweet. Stir in the
Kirsch liqueur and chill for several hours. Place the ice cream in a
serving bowl in scoops and set the peach halves on top. Cover with
raspberry puree and serve. Makes 8 servings.
