Ingredients:
1 tbsp: Olive oil,
1 large: Onion, diced
1/2: Green bell pepper, chopped
3 can: Crushed tomatoes, 28-oz ea.
2 can: Dark red kidney beans, (40-oz each), drained
3 tbsp: Chili powder, or to taste
1 tsp: Salt,
1 tbsp: Sugar, optional
Directions:
Heat the oilve oil in a very large frying pan or Dutch
oven over medium heat. Saute the onions and pepper
until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and bring the mixture to
a boil. Lower the heat and simmer, covered, for 1
hour.
Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 1 hour
