Okra Pilau Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: Okra, thinly sliced,rinsed
3: Bacon slices, diced
1 cup: Green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup: Onions, chopped
1 cup: Rice, uncooked
2 cup: Chicken broth,
2 tsp: Salt,
1 can: Tomatoes,drain/chop, 16oz
Directions:
1. In large skillet, saute okra and bacon until lightly browned.
2. Add bell peppers and onions; continue cooking until vegetables are
crisp-tender.
3. Add rice, chicken broth and salt.
4. Bring to a boil, stir once, cover, reduce heat and simmer 15
minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
5. Add tomatoes; heat, and fluff with a fork.
