Orange-kissed Beets Recipe

Ingredients:
From the files of W. Long,
Tulsa, Oklahoma
1/3 cup: Orange juice,
2 tbsp: Light brown sugar,
1 tbsp: Margarine,
1/2 tsp: Cornstarch,
1/8 tsp: Ground ginger,
1/8 tsp: Salt,
1/8 tsp: Pepper,
1 can: 8-1/4 oz sliced beets,
Drained,
1 tsp: Golden raisins,
Strips of orange peel,

Directions:

In a saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir orange juice, brown
sugar, margarine, cornstarch, ginger, salt and pepper until thick.
Add the beets and raisins, heat through. Garnish with orange peel.
