Poppy Seed Cake *** Vkcc08b Recipe

Ingredients:
1 package: Yellow cake mix,
3 ounce: French vannilla pudding mix,
1/3 cup: Sweet sherry,
1/3 cup: Poppy seed,
Stick butter,
Eggs,
8 ounce: Sour cream,
GLAZE
Stick butter,
1 cup: Sugar,
1/4 cup: Sherry,
1/4 cup: Water,
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, beat for a full 5 mins.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hr. Cool
slightly an then pour glaze on cake in pan. GLAZE: Mix glaze
ingredients together and bring to a boil, boil for a full 3 mins.
Prick top of cake and pour hot glaze over cake. Let cake cool in pan.
