Pumpkin Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Shortening,
1 cup: Brown sugar,
1 cup: Mashed pumpkin,
1 cup: Raisins,
1/2 cup: Nuts,
1 tsp: Vanilla,
2 cup: Flour,
1 tsp: Baking soda,
1 tsp: Cinnamon,
1 tsp: Baking powder,
Icing sugar, optional
Cream shortening and sugar, then add pumpkin, raisins, nuts and

baking powder and add to creamed ingredients. Mix well, then drop ty
teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheet. BAte at 350F for 8 to 10
minutes.
When cool, dust with icing sugar if desired.
