Sour Cream Waffles Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: All-purpose flour,
2 1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
3/4 tsp: Baking soda,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 tbsp: Sugar, plus
1 1/2 tsp: Sugar,
4: Eggs, separated
1 cup: Sour cream,
1 1/2 cup: Milk,
3/4 cup: Sweet Butter, melted, plus
2 tbsp: Sweet Butter, melted =OR=- Oil instead of butter

Directions:
SIFT TOGETHER ALL DRY INGREDIENTS. In a separate bowl, beat together
the egg yolks, sour cream, milk and melted butter (or oil). Add to
the dry mix. Mix together thoroughly. Beat egg whites until stiff,
and fold in completely. Bake in preheated waffle iron. This delicious
waffle recipe comes from Margaret Fox, who prepares wonderful
breakfasts at her restaurant, Cafe Beaujolais, in Mendocino, Calif.
