Ginataan Recipe

Ingredients:
1 can: Frozen coconut milk, thawed (32 oz)
1 cup: Mochiko,
1 cup: Water,
1/2 cup: Sugar,
2 cup: Cooked yams, sliced in 1/2 inch cubes
2 cup: Cooked taro, sliced in 1/2 inch cubes
2 each: Firm ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch slices

Directions:
Mix 1/2 c coconut milk with the mochiko to form a stiff dough. Shape
into 1/2 inch balls; set aside. In a large saucepan, combine
remaining coconut milk, water and sugar. Cook over medium heat for 10
minutes, sirring occasionally. Add yams and mochiko balls; cook,
stirring occasionally, for 10 more minutes. Add taro and cook for 15
more minutes or until desired thickness. Stir banana slices into
pudding before serving. Ginataan
