1 cup: Buttermilk,
1 lbs: Fine cornmeal,
1 tbsp: Salt,
1 pinch: Baking soda,
1: Egg,
1 tbsp: Sugar,

Directions:

Stir, adding water, to thick consistency. Drop in deep fat by
teaspoonfuls. Cook in temperature of 375 degrees. Serves 6. Piedmont
