1 tbsp: Butter or margarine,
2 tbsp: Molasses or honey,
1 1/2 cup: Whole wheat flour,
1/2 cup: White flour,
1/2 cup: Rolled oats,
3/4 cup: 7-grain cereal,
1/4 cup: Nonfat dried milk powder,
1 tbsp: Sugar,
1 tsp: Salt,
3 tbsp: Gluten,
2 tsp: Yeast,
Directions:
Place ingredients in bread machine in order given (or in reverse
order if your machine takes the dry ingredients first).
To make in bread machine: process on whole wheat cycle.
To bake in oven: process on dough cycle. Remove dough, punch down and
shape into loaf. Place in greased bread loaf pan and let rise until
doubled, about one hour. Bake in 400 degree F oven for 20 minutes.
Remove loaf to cool.
Note: Instead of using 7 grain cereal, you can use 8 grain, 9 grain,
12 grain, etc. -- whatever is available where you shop. You can
usually find this stuff in grocery stores where they have bins with
grains, flours, etc.
Option: Add 1/4 sunflower seeds.
