Wondrous Lowfat Vanilla Sauce For Desserts Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Sugar,
1 cup: Boiling water,
1 tbsp: Cornstarch,
2 tbsp: Diet unsalted margarine,
1 tsp: Pure vanilla flavoring,
1 pinch: Salt,
Directions:
Combine sugar and cornstarch, then gradually stir in the boiling
water, stirring for 5 minutes on low heat. Remove from heat and add
margarine, vanilla and salt. Serve over Angel Food Cake, lowfat
custards and puddings, fat-free pastries, fruit gelatins or fresh
fruit, especially bananas, mangos, and other non-citrus fruits. Makes
about 1 1/2 cups.
