Hikers Bird Seed Recipe

Ingredients:
12 ounce: Chocolate chips or M&Ms,
, (depending on temperature)
8 ounce: Unsalted nuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds, etc. and/or combo
8 ounce: Dried fruit, raisins, curreants, chopped dates, etc. or combo
2 cup: Dry cereal, Rice Krispies, Trix, etc. no flakes
Directions:
Mix well and put one cupful in plastic bag. This is an old standby that
shows up on almost every hike in one form or another.
Its cheaper to make than buy pre-mixed in the health food store, too,
unless you just need a small amount.
