Terrye Newkirks: Real Tortilla Chips Recipe
Yield: 1 servingRecipe by luhu.jp
Ingredients:
CHIPS
2: Tortillas, cut in
Salt to taste,
- quarters,
1 ounce: To 2 oz cheese, (low-fat)
Cooking spray,
GARNISH
Onions, lettuce, tomatoes,
Jalapnos, etc.
Directions:
Just cut a couple of tortillas in quarters and spread on a cookie sheet.
Bake at about 300 until their crisp. (I like them slightly browned.)
Theyre old-style, REAL tortilla chips, not the flimsy ones. If you like
them salted, spray with a little Pam before you bake them and sprinkle with
salt. With an ounce or two of grated cheese and LOTS of Paces, these make
pretty good nachos. (Onions, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, etc., are all
good, too.) :)
