Lima Bean Pot Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lbs: Beans, lima, dried
1 lbs: Sausage, bulk
1: Onion, chopped
1/2: Green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup: Celery, chopped
1 can: Tomato sauce, (15 oz)
2 tbsp: Sugar, brown
1 1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 tsp: Chili powder,
1/8 tsp: Cayenne pepper,

Directions:
Sort and wash beans. Cover with water, and bring to a boil; boil 2
minutes. Remove from heat, and let stand 1 hour. Return to a boil; cover,
recude heat, and simmer until almost tender (about 1 hour).

Brown sausage in a skillet; add onion, green pepper, and celery. Saute
until vegetables are tender. Add meat mixture and remaining ingredients.
Continue cooking until beans are tender, adding water if necessary.
