Green Salad With Apple And Bacon Recipe

Ingredients:
1 Head: lettuce, (or combo of
%%%%% VINAIGRETTE %%%%%,
-various different kinds),
1/2 cup: Olive oil,
2: Carrots, diced
2 tbsp: Red wine vinegar,
1: Red apple, diced, with skin
1/2 tsp: Dry mustard,
1/2 cup: Shredded cheddar cheese,
1/4 tsp: Dried oregano,
4: Sliced cooked bacon,
1 pinch: Of granulated sugar,
-crumbled,
Salt and pepper to taste,
Directions:
Combine together, and allow to chill for at least 1 hour.
In chilled bowl, break up lettuce into bite sized pieces. Add the
diced carrots and apple. Toss. Drizzle over top of salad, and toss
gently to coat. Sprinkle the cheese and bacon over top just prior to
serving. Makes 4-6 servings.
