Cabbage & Mushroom Filling For Pierogies Recipe

Ingredients:
Cabbage,
1/3 cup: Water,
1 tsp: Salt,
1 large: Onion, halved and sliced
1/4 tsp: Pepper,
4 ounce: Mushrooms, stems and
Pieces,
2: Eggs, hardcooked -- chopped
2 tbsp: Butter or margarine,
Directions:
Combine the cabbage, water, onion, mushrooms and butter in a large
saucepan. Cook covered over low heat till tender, about 30 min. Add
salt pepper and chopped eggs; mix well. Makes about 3 1/2 cups
