Cowboy Barbecue Sauce` Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tbsp: Bacon Grease Or Vegetable Oil,
1 large: Onion, finely chopped
2 Cloves: Garlic, minced
1 cup: Tomato Catsup,
1 cup: Chili Sauce, Bottled
1/2 cup: Packed Light Brown Sugar,
1/2 cup: Lemon Juice,
2 tbsp: Worcestershire Sauce,
Hot Red Pepper Sauce, to taste
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, heat the bacon grease over low heat. Add the
onion and garlic and cook, stirring, until the onion is softened,
about 5 mins. 2. Stir in the catsup, chili sauce, sugar, lemon juice,
and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring often
to prevent sticking, until slightly thickened, about 45 mins. Season
with hot sauce to taste. (The sauce can be made up to 5 days ahead,
cooled, covered, and refrigerated.)
