Jam Bars Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Shortening,
1/2 cup: Sugar,
1/2 tsp: Vanilla,
1/2 tsp: Almond Extract,
1: Egg,
1 1/2 cup: Flour,
1 tsp: Baking Powder,
1/2 tsp: Cinnamon,
1/4 tsp: Cloves,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
Directions:
Mix everything except the jam together. Spread 1/2 of the dough in a
greased 8" square pan. Cover with jam, pour on the rest of the pastry
and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
