Pinana Sorbet Recipe
Yield: 1 quartRecipe by luhu.jp
Ingredients:
2 large: Ripe bananas, peeled and cut
Into 2 inch pieces,
1 cup: Ripe fresh pineapple,
OR,
Fresh pack canned, crushed
And drained,
2 tbsp: Lemon juice,
1/2 cup: Simple sugar syrup,
SIMPLE SYRUP
2 cup: Water,
2 cup: Sugar,
Directions:
To make the simple sugar syrup: Simmer the water and sugar until
sugar is totally dissolved. This will make two cups of syrup. Cool
before using and store in the refrigerator.
Puree bananas, pineapple, lemon juice and syrup in a food processor
until nearly smooth.
Pour the mixture into a chilled ice cream maker and follow
manufacturers directions until mixture is semisolid. Serve
immediately.
