Apple Sauce Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Sugar,
1 cup: All-purpose flour,
1/3 cup: Margarine or butter --,
1/2 cup: Cornmeal,
Softened,
1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
3/4 cup: MOTTS Regular Apple Sauce,
1/2 tsp: Baking soda,
1: Egg,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
Directions:
Heat oven to 375F. Grease bottom only of 8x4 or 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In large bowl, beat sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add
apple sauce and egg; beat well. Add flour, cornmeal, baking powder,
baking soda and salt, stirring just until moistened. Pour into
prepared pan. Bake at 375F for 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from
pan. Cool completely.
