Tangy Banana Bars Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp: Baking powder,
1 cup: Brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tsp: Baking soda,
1/2 cup: Margarine or butter,
1 cup: Bananas, thinly sliced about
1 Jar: apricot preserves-10 oz,
-2 medium: ,
1 tsp: Vanilla,
3/4 cup: Nuts, chopped (your choice)
2: Eggs,
Powdered sugar,
1 3/4 cup: All purpose flour,
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9-inch pan. In large bowl,
combine brown sugar, margarine, preserves, vanilla, and eggs; blend
well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. By hand,
stir in remaining ingredients except powdered sugar; mix just until
blended. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in
center comes out clean. Cool completely; sprinkle with powdered
sugar. Cut into bars. Makes 36 bars. 2 bars = 228 calories, 8 g fat.
