Anise Hard Candy Recipe

Ingredients:
1 tbsp: Aniseed,
1 1/2 cup: Granulated sugar,
2 cup: , Water
1 1/2 cup: Brown sugar,
Directions:
Simmer the seeds in water for 15 to 20 minutes; strain the liquid into
another saucepan. Stir in the sugar. Boil to the hard crack stage
(290-300 F.), then pour into an oiled shallow pan. Mark into squares;
break apart when hard, and wrap each piece in waxed paper.
