Fruity Oat And Bran Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Minus, see next ingredient
2 tsp: Margarine, melted
1/2 cup: Whole wheat flour,
3 tbsp: Firmly packed brown sugar,
1 1/2 ounce: Bran,
1/4 cup: Skim milk,
3/4 ounce: Quick cooking oats,
1 tsp: Vanilla extract,
-uncooked,
1: Egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp: Baking soda,
1 cup: Applesauce,
1/2 tsp: Ground cinnamon,
1 tsp: Freshly grated orange peel,
2 tbsp: Plus, see next ingredient
1/4 cup: Raisins,

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowlm combine both flours, bran, oats,
baking soda, and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix remaining ingredients
except raisins. Beat with a wire whisk until blended. Add to dry
ingredients with raisins and mix well. Place in a 4X8 nonstick loaf
pan. Bake 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan
10 minutes, remove to rack to finish cooling.

Per serving: 4g protein, 5g fat, 28g carb., 163mg sodium, 34mg chol.,
171 calories.
