Quick Bean Soup Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tsp: Oil,
-drained and rinsed,
1/2 cup: Chopped onion,
15 ounce: Can chick peas, drained and
1 medium: Green or yellow bell,
-rinsed,
-pepper, chopped
14 1/2 ounce: Can vegetable broth,
1 centiliter: Garlic, minced
2 tsp: Chili powder,
15 1/2 ounce: Can great northern beans,

Directions:
Heat oil in large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium heat until hot.
Add onion, bell pepper and garlic; cook and stir 5 minutes or until
onion is tender. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to a
boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until thoroughly
heated.

Per serving: 230 cal., 10g pro., 34g carb., 10g fiber., 5g fat, 0mg
chol., 780mg sod., 270mg pot., 2 starch, 1 lean meat and 1/2 fat
exchanges.
