Speedy Pickled Peaches Recipe

Ingredients:
1 each: No. 2 1/2 can peach,
-cup granulated sugar,
Halves, drained
From peaches,
Whole cloves,
1/2 cup: Vinegar,
1 cup: Peach syrup drained 1/2,
1 each: 3" stick cinnamon,
Directions:
Week or so ahead: Stud each peach half with 3 or 4 cloves. Simmer
with rest of ingredients 3 or 4 min. Cool; then store in
refrigerator. Serve with poultry, meat, or fish. Nice too to serve as
dessert, with vanilla ice cream.
