All-purpose Chocolate Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Powdered sugar,
3 ounce: Bittersweet or semisweet,
1 cup: Heavy cream,
Chocolate, cut-up
1 Stick: butter, cut in bits
2 tbsp: Amaretto or other almond,
1/2 cup: Unsweetened cocoa powder,
-flavored liqueur,
-- firmly packed,
2 tbsp: Chocolate-flavored liqueur,

In a small saucepan, combine powdered sugar, cream, butter, cocoa, and
chocolate. Place over low heat and cook, stirring constantly, until
chocolate melts and sauce is smooth and glossy, 3 to 5 mins. Remove
from heat and stir in amaretto and chocolate liqueur. Let cool to room
temperature.

NOTES : Try varying the liqueurs to suit your taste. If you want it
non-alcoholic, leave out the liqueur and substitute 1/4 cup of
strong coffee.
