Austrian Pork Loin With Apples & Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

2 large: Tart apples, peeled,
1 lbs: Boneless pork loin,

-- trimmed of all fat,
-- thinly sliced,
-- cut in 1/4" slices,
1 can: Cranberry sauce, whole
1/2 tsp: Dried thyme leaves,
1 tbsp: Worcestershire sauce,
1/4 tsp: Black pepper,
1 tbsp: Apple cider vinegar,
1/4 tsp: Salt, optional
2 tbsp: Packed brown sugar,
1 cup: Onion, chopped
-----to serve-----,
2 tsp: Margarine, non-diet,
8 ounce: Reduced-fat egg noodles,
-- tub-style corn oil,
-- cooked as directed,
--or canola,

Directions:

with thyme, pepper, and salt, if desired. In Dutch oven or similar
large, heavy pot, combine pork, onion, and margarine. Cook over
medium heat, stirring frequently, until pork has changed color.

Add apples, cranberry sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and brown
sugar and stir to mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and
simmer 40 mins, stirring occasionally, until pork is tender.

Serve over cooked noodles.
