Blackcurrant Cordial Recipe

Ingredients:
2: -fluid ounces fresh black-,
2 ounce: Sugar, to taste
-currant juice,
Few scented geranium leaves,
1 1/2: -inch stick of cinnamon,
12: -fluid ounces Spanish brandy,
1 ounce: TO,
-or vodka,

Directions:
Place the juice, cinnamon, sugar and geranium leaves in a suitable
bottle. Fill up with brandy or vodka. Cap firmly and shake well.
Leave in a warm place for a few days to dissolve the sugar and then
keep in a cool place for a month before straining through muslin or
flannel into clean bottles.

The authors say that this cordial is best served chilled or mixed
with a crisp white wine. It can also be heated and served as a sauce
over cream cheese or ice cream.
