Braised Cabbage With Apple And Caraway Seeds Recipe

Ingredients:
INGREDIENTS
2 T: Butter,
1 t: Caraway Seeds,
1 t: Garlic, minced
1 each: Salt,
1 each: Apple, peeled, cored, sliced
DIRECTIONS
1 cup: Onion, coarsely sliced
1/2 cup: Chicken Broth,
1 each: Cabbage Head, shredded
1 each: White Pepper, freshly ground
1 T: White Vinegar,
Directions:
Melt the butter in a skillet and add the onion and garlic. Cook,
stirring, until wilted. Do not brown. Add the cabbage, apple,
vinegar, caraway seeds, chicken broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a
boil, stir, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Uncover and if there is
too much liquid, reduce it accordingly. Serves 4.
