Mile-high Strawberry Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
3 quart: Fresh strawberry, divided
1: 10" deep dish pastry shell,
1 1/2 cup: Sugar,
1 cup: Alta Dena heavy cream,
6 tbsp: Cornstarch,
1 1/2 cup: Instant vanilla pudding mix,
2/3 cup: Water,
Directions:
In a large bowl, mash enough strawberries to equal 3 cups. In a
saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in the mashed
strawberries and water; mix well. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat. Pour into a large bowl. Chill 2-3 hours. In a
small mixing bowl whip cream and until soft pecks form. Sprinkle
pudding over cream and whip until stiff. Pipe around edge of pie or
doing on individual. Serves 8 to 10.
