Zwieback Pie #2 Recipe

Yield: 6 Servings

Ingredients:
1 Box: zwieback toast, crushed
1/2 cup: Sugar,
1/2 cup: Butter, melted
1 tbsp: Cinnamon,
3/4 cup: Sugar,
2 tbsp: Flour,
2 cup: Milk,
4: Egg yolks,
1 tsp: Vanilla,
4: Egg whites,
6 tbsp: Sugar,

Directions:
Mix toast (reserve 1/2 cup for top), 1/2 cup sugar, butter & cinnamon.
Press into pie pan & bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Combine 3/4 cup sugar,
flour, milk & yolks in saucepan. Cook & stir over low heat until thick. Add
vanilla & pour into crust. Beat egg whites & 6 Tbs sugar. Cover filling
with meringue, sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake at 400 until brown.
