No-bake Bars Recipe

Ingredients:
4 cup: Cheerios,
2 cup: Crisp rice cereal,
2 cup: Dry roasted peanuts,
2 cup: M&Ms,
1 cup: Light corn syrup,
1 cup: Sugar,
1 cup: Creamy peanut butter, (up to 1-1/2)
1 tsp: Vanilla extract,

Directions:
Happy Mothers Day! My husband made these bars last night. They are so good
and unfortunately we have been eating them all day. He got the recipe from
a magazine called "Quick Cooking". The recipe says it was sent in by Susie
Wingert from Panama, Iowa.

In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients; set aside. In a
saucepan, bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove
from the heat; stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture
and toss to coat evenly. Spread into a greased 15X10X1 baking pan. Cool.
Cut into bars. Yield: 15 bars
