Onion Lovers Onions Recipe
Yield: 2 CupsRecipe by luhu.jp
Ingredients:
4: Cooking onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp: Butter,
1: To 2 tbsp. brown sugar,
4 tsp: Balsamic vinegar or water,
Salt and pepper to taste,
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300
F. Spread onions in a roasting pan or rectangular
baking dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with brown sugar, balsamic vinegar,
salt and pepper. Cover tightly; bake for 50 to 60 minutes, stirring once.
This can be stored in refrigerator up to 5 days. Serve hot or cold or as
below. Makes about 2 cups
Use as: a pizza topping an accompaniment to saut
ed liver, sausage or other
meats a hamburger condiment an addition to spinach or other vegetables for
extra flavor.
