Apple Pie (rice) Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Sugar.,
2 tbsp: All-purpose flour.,
1 tsp: Cinnamon.,
1/8 tsp: Nutmeg.,
1/8 tsp: Salt. Juice of 1 lemon.,
7 medium: Tart cooking apples, pared,cored and thinly sliced.
3 tbsp: Butter or margarine. Kitchenaid pie pastry for double crust 9-inch pie.,
Directions:
INSTRUCTIONS:Combine sugar,flour,cinnamon,nutmeg,lemon juice and
salt;mix with apples.
Divide pastry in half.Roll to 1/8 inch thickness and line a 9-inchpie
plate.Fill with apple mixture and dot with butter.Roll outremaining
crust and place on pie.Cut slits for steam to escapeand seal
edges.Sprinkle with sugar lightly.
Bake at 400^F for 50 minutes. YIELD:One 9-inch pie.
