Mashed Potatoes With Garlic Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cup: Russett potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4 cup: Water,
2 Cloves: garlic, minced
1/2 cup: Skim milk, (or evaporated skim milk for creamier texture
1 tbsp: Fresh chives,
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste,
Directions:
Combine potato, water and garlic in two-quart microwave safe casserole
dish. Cover and microwave on high 11-13 minutes or until potatoes are
tender. Stir every 5 minutes. Mash potatoes until smooth. Add milk to
potatoes and beat on medium speed with mixer until smooth. Add chives
and stir.
