Mincemeat (real Meat) #2 Recipe

Ingredients:
4 lbs: Beef [lean & chopped],
2 lbs: Suet [chopped],
3 lbs: Brown sugar,
2 cup: Molasses,
2 quart: Cider,
3 lbs: Currents,
4 lbs: Raisins [seeded],
1/2 lbs: Citron [chopped],
2 quart: Apples [sliced & peeled},
1 quart: Brandy,
1 tbsp: Cinnamon,
1 tbsp: Mace,
1 tbsp: Clove [powdered],
1 tsp: Nutmeg,
1 tsp: Allspice,
2 tsp: Salt,
Directions:
1) In a large kettle, combine the beef, suet, brown sugar,
molasses, cider, currents, citron and raisins, cooking slowly over
low heat `til the sugar and citron melt... 2) Add the prepared apples
to the mincemeat and cook until the apples are tender... 3) Add the
remaining ingredients and stir `til well mixed.
