Cherry Hazelnut Balls Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Butter or margarine, softened
1 cup: Confectioners sugar,
2 cup: Sifted all-purpose flour,
1/4 tsp: Salt,
1/2 cup: Finely chopped hazelnuts roasted Oregon hazelnuts),
8 ounce: Red maraschino cherries, drained & chopped
1/2 tsp: Vanilla,
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and salt;
blend thoroughly. Stir in hazelnuts, cherries and vanilla; chill.
Shape into small balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in
a 275 oven for 30 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned.
