Chocolate Meringue Bars Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Margarine,
1/2 cup: Sugar,
1/2 cup: Brown sugar,
2: Eggs, separated
1 tsp: Vanilla,
2 tsp: Baking powder,
1 tsp: Baking soda,
1/2 tsp: Salr,
3 tbsp: Milk, or water
6 ounce: Chocolate chips,
1 cup: Brown sugar,
1/2 tsp: Vanilla,
1/2 cup: Nuts, , optional
Directions:
Beat margarine, sugars, egg yolks, and 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix dry ings.
, and add with milk. Spread in 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle with chocol ate
chips. Beat egg whiles to soft peaks, beat in brown sugar and
vanilla. Fold in nuts. Spread carefully over chips. Bake 30-35 mi n.
at 325F.
