Cordon Bleu Chicken Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:
6: Single chicken breasts cooked,
6 Slices: ham, cooked
6 Slices: Swiss cheese,
4 tbsp: Butter,
4 tbsp: Flour,
1/4 tsp: Thyme,
1: Egg, beaten
1 3/4 cup: Milk,
1/4 cup: Dry breadcrumbs,
2 tsp: Butter, melted

Directions:
In a greased 8x8 inch baking pan, arrange a layer of chicken, top
with a layer of ham, then a layer of cheese. To prepare sauce, melt 4
tablespoons butter, and add flour and thyme. Combine egg and milk,
and add slowly to flour mixture. Continue cooking, stirring
constantly, until smooth and thickened. Pour over chicken. Combine 2
teaspoons melted butter and dry breadcrumbs. Spread over sauce.
Bake at 350

F for 30 minutes, or until heated through. Makes 6
