Crunchy Garden Peas & Green Onions Recipe

Ingredients:
5 tbsp: olive oil,
2 cup: shelled green garden peas,
3: green onions with stems --,

Directions:
: chopped
: Salt and freshly ground
: black pepper
3 ts finely chopped fresh basil
3 TB grated imported Parmesan
: cheese
: Hot pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the peas and green
onions and saute 2 to 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add
the optional basil, cheese and/or hot pepper flakes to taste. Cover
the pan for 1 minute for young peas, longer for older ones. Serve
hot. Yield: 4 servings
