Scripture Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup: Butter,
2 cup: Flour,
1/2 tsp: Salt,
1 cup: Figs,
1 1/2 cup: Sugar,
2 tsp: Baking powder,
1/2 cup: Water,
1 cup: Raisins,
3 each: Egg,
1/2 tsp: Each mace, cloves, cinnamon
1 tbsp: Honey,
1/2 cup: Almonds,
Directions:
Behold there was a cake baked..............1 Kings 19:6 Blend butter,
sugar, spices, and salt. Beat egg yolks and add. Sift in baking
powder and flour, then add the water and honey. Put fruit and nuts
through food chopper and flour well. Follow Solomans advice for
making boys, first clause of Proverbs 23:14. Fold in stiffly beaten
