Shells With Creamy Wine Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup: Medium seashell macaroni --,
Uncooked,
1/4 cup: Minced onion,
1/4 cup: Water,
1/4 cup: Chablis or other dry white,
Wine,
1/4 cup: Neufchatel cheese with herbs,
And spices,
Ground pepper,
Vegetable cooking spray,
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting the salt and fat.
Drain cooked pasta, and set aside.
Coat a saucepan with cooking spray, and place over medium heat until
hot. Add onion; saute 2 minutes or until tender. Add water and wine,
and cook 1 minute. Add cheese, and cook 1 minute or until well
blended, stirring with a wire whisk. Add pasta, tossing gently to
coat. Cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly.
Sprinkle with pepper. Yield: 2 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
