Sis Toms White Layer Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Crisco,
2 cup: Sugar,
3 cup: Flour, sifted
2 tsp: Lemon extract,
2 tsp: Baking powder,
1 cup: Milk,
8: Egg whites, unbeaten

Directions:
Cream Crisco and sugar. Sift flour and baking powder. Add flour and
milk alternately. Add egg whites one at a time and beat 2 minutes
after each addition. Add flavoring. Bake in layers or a tube pan.
Bake at 350 F.
