German Spaghetti Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs: Ground beef,
4 slice: Bacon, cut lengthwise
1 large: Onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste,
16 ounce: Tomato sauce,
28 ounce: Can tomatoes, drained, chpd
Juice reserved,
1/3 cup: Sugar,
1/2 lbs: Elbow spaghetti, cooked
, macaroni?

Directions:
Brown and drain hamburger. Lightly cook bacon; retain fat and cook
onions until transparent. Salt and pepper hamburger to taste. Add
bacon, onion, tomatoes and juice, tomato sauce, and sugar to
hamburger. Simmer 30 minutes. Add cooked spaghetti. Put into large,
greased casserole and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
