Split Pea Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup: Dried green split peas,
1/2 cup: Tahini,
1 tbsp: Olive oil,
1/3 cup: Lemon juice,
2: Garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tsp: Dried mint,
4 tbsp: , water

Directions:
Cook the split peas in 3 cups of water for 45 to 60 minutes on the
stovetop, or 8 to 12 minutes in a pressure cooker.

Place all ingredietns in a food processor and blend until smooth and
creamy, adding enough water to achieve desired consistency. Yields: 2
1/2 cups.

Serve at room temperature.

Per tablespoon: 27 cal; 1 g prot; 1 mg sod; 2 g carb;
2 g fat; 0 mg chol; 3 mg calcium
